The amount of pets considered depends on the size.
Situated in the City of Limoges is the famous Limoges Pottery.
For great a day out there is the valley of the monkeys, future scope (virtual reality), Crocodile and Reptile parks, Situated in the medievil town of Cofolens there is the Velo rail (six seater bikes that travel on the train tracks) and the world famous music and dance festival. Also from easter to the end of september the surrounding villages have fetes

The immediate area around the gite is excellent for walking with local circular walks from the village. Horse riding, golf and cycling are also available locally.

There is also a fishing lake, children's play area and restaurant/bar, fishing permits can be bought at the Mairie office.

GOLF

The nearest golf course at St Junien about 9 kms away.

For swimming and windsurfing there is a large lake at St. Pardoux, about 20 minutes away. It has 3 different beaches with children's play areas, toilet and eating facilities, also there is two more lakes locally at Cieux and Etagnac.

Closer to home, there is an abundance of things to interest all ages. Enjoy the Vèlo-Rail, pedalling along a disused railway line from Confolons station. On the outskirts of town there is a delightful leisure area with a swimming pool, fishing, boating lakes and picnic facilities
